When liberal media outfits like The Nation or Huffington Post refer to Trump as a Fascist or say he is undermining democracy, or that he wants to install an authoritarian regime, I pay it little mind. After all, for eight years I had to listen to the other side accuse Obama of trying to subvert the Constitution to his own ends.
But today I sat up and took notice when a mainstream Republican website, The Hill, carried an editorial by a Professor of Political Science and Jurisprudence at Amherst College, Austin Sarat, who referred to Trump’s political behavior as ‘delusional…

If you really and truly want to understand what Trump is and always has been all about, consider this: One of Trump’s closest political advisers was Dick Morris, whose father had been Trump’s real-estate lawyer and was also a cousin of Roy Cohn, who had been Trump’s attorney until he came down with AIDS.
Should you judge someone by the company he keeps? How else can you judge them? Ask yourself what images come to mind when you think about Dick Morris and Roy Cohn. And let’s not forget Michael Cohen — that’s Cohn with an ‘e.’
I have just…

The last time a Presidential campaign was as deeply embedded in racial issues as last year’s campaign was in 1988, when a TV ad featuring Willie Horton moved what was a competitive contest between Mike Dukakis and George Bush into an easy win for the GOP.
Guess who helped the Bush campaign come up with this blatant appeal to racism in 1988? None other than our good friend Roger Stone. Here’s a picture from 1989:

The latest and greatest misguided attempt by the liberal noise machine to push Donald Trump out of the public arena is the story making its rounds about how Trump allegedly told his staff chief, Mark Meadows, to pressure the Department of Justice into investigating false claims about election ‘fraud.’
According to CNN, this behavior is “absolutely terrifying.” The story then goes on to quote Senator Dick Durbin that such behavior is a “‘five-alarm fire for our democracy.’”
At the time that Trump was trying to get Meadows to get the Department of Justice to obliterate the last, remaining shreds of…

I keep reading the mainstream media’s attempt to describe Trump’s return to the political arena as a big mistake. He’s too old, he’s too tied to January 6th, he’s going to get indicted, blah, blah, blah and blah.
For those who, like me, consider that the GOP should become the permanent minority party or disappear altogether, I think the idea of wishing that Trump will no longer be a player in the political universe is a very big mistake. …

In yesterday’s column I said that Trump won because he got 1/10th of 1 percent of the total votes cast in four states. That was wrong. In fact, he won because he got 1/10th of 1 percent of the votes in three states — Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. He flipped several other states that had gone blue in 2012 but those were states, like Florida, which tip back and forth every four years.
On the other hand, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin were always blue states, so Trump winning the electoral votes in those states was something not only unexpected but…

Now that Donald Trump is gone and almost forgotten, and the ‘fake news’ media has nothing better to do, they have started bloviating about the alleged ‘civil war’ going on in the ranks of the GOP. They tried this one for months both before and after Joe got the Democratic nomination and there was this so-called ‘split’ between the ‘progressive’ and ‘mainstream’ Democratic Party wings. Now it’s the GOP’s turn to be the subject of the same nonsense by the fake news.
In particular, there seems to be an idea floating around that the MAGA will become a third party…

If there’s one reason more than any that I’m glad Trump is no longer sitting in the Oval Office, it’s because if he were, I can guarantee you that right now he’d be planning a state funeral for Rush Limbaugh and making sure that Rush’s casket would spend several days in the same Capitol chamber that Rush’s most ardent fans trashed on January 6th.
I also suspect that Trump would have tried to get a waiver so that his good buddy could be buried in Arlington. So, what if Rush faked some medical problem to get out of serving in…

Like just about everyone else, I watched the impeachment trial hoping against hope that Trump would get it right in the ass. I knew he wouldn’t, I knew there weren’t enough GOP votes to being him down. But hope springs eternal, correct?
The most powerful part of the trial, at least for me, was the testimony which revealed that Trump was asked again and again to mouth up and tell the rioters to stop what they were doing, leave the Capitol and go home. He never once issued any kind of verbal command to the rioters, almost all of whom…

The other day Instagram told Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., goodbye and good riddance because of the false claims he has been making about Coivid-19 vaccines. Kennedy’s been making a jerk out of himself for years with his anti-vaccine rants, but enough is finally enough.
Is Kennedy the latest victim of the liberal’s new weapon known as ‘cancel culture?’ You bet. And in that respect, he’s following in the footsteps of another anti-vaccinator, the 45th President of the United States. You may recall that Trump used to say that vaccines caused autism, but the ‘Chinese flu’ forced him to change his…
