A Conservative Tells Us Liberals What We Need To Do.

Now that the election is over and Trump will be returning to the Oval Office, not as a dictator but as the winner of a national election which even he seems to believe took place without any kind of corruption or vote stealing at all, the Fake News media can now begin to debate what the Democrats need to do to take back control.

As I said in my earlier story today, the new Trump political enterprise will probably have slightly less than two years to run, because if recent history, tragedy or farce is any guide, the blue team will probably take back at least one of the two legislative chambers which will be colored red when Congress convenes for its 119th session on January 3rd of next year.

In that regard, The Atlantic Monthly has just published an almost book-length article by David Brooks which attempts to explain the November 7th debacle as a failure of the merit-based education system which became standardized in the 1960’s and has subsequently produced a political leadership of the blue team which is completely out of touch with all those white, working-class, truck-driving MAGA stalwarts whose votes produced a second term for Donald Trump.
