A New Book and Book Series — Coming Soon!

I am pleased to announce that I will shortly publish the first number in my new Booklet book series, which will be the ‘Wilderness in America’ title pictured above.

These books will be academic studies of contemporary political and social issues, fully annotated and more or less 60 pages in length. They will be published in softcover and digital editions.

The readers who purchase the first 50 copies of any of the books will get them for free. I am publishing these books to provoke discussion. At my current age (80 1/2 years) I need to worry about royalties like I need to worry about my receding hairline.

The initial book in the Booklet series is a study of how and why wilderness is returning to the first region in North America from where it disappeared. There will also be books on the continued presence of colonialism, the curse of racism, the burden of violence, the impact of the internet, the shape of economic development and the meaning of ideology.
