Are There Any Issues in the Trump-Biden Campaign?

I am beginning to think that the 2024 Presidential campaign may go down as the single, most issue-less Presidential campaign of all time. And in that regard, I have to admit that the failure to ask voters to make up their minds based on what the candidates say about what the country is facing now and what the country will face depending on who ends up on top come November 5th, may be as much if not more a function of the narrative being used by Biden rather than the narrative and messaging used by Trump.

How is that possible you say? After all, Trump refers to Biden as ‘crooked Joe,’ he makes endless references to Biden’s lack of brains and Biden’s demented state, and he always tells his audience that the country is on the verge of an absolute collapse and things have never been worse than they are at the moment without ever justifying such comments with reference to any facts.

As for Joe and the Democrats, their chief argument is not to promote the achievements of the past four years, with an economy setting all kinds of records for growth, such as a Dow Jones which has hit higher than the 40-thousand mark and an unemployment rate which remains under percent.

Rather, what we get from our side of the campaign is a constant and undeviating refrain about Trump being a Fascist and if he wins the 2024 campaign…
