Can the Democrats Do a Better Job?

Let me begin this rant by saying that I have voted in every national election since 1968, and I always vote the exact, same way. I walk into the voting booth, take the ballot, put an X next to every name on the Democrat(ic) line, drop the ballot in the box and walk out.

I don’t usually know who’s running for any office except President and I really don’t care. I know that voting for any Republican would be like eating frozen French toast. You just don’t do it, okay?

Over the last five national elections, I have also sent somewhere around fifteen grand or so to the DNC, because I figure they know who needs the money more than I know.

Fifteen grand may sound like a lot of dough, but if you divide it into five election cycles, that’s three thousand thou every other year.

I probably spend that much money every other year on potato chips; certainly, it’s less than what I spend every year to feed our four cats. In other words, big friggin’ deal.

What my donations to the DNC also get me are texts and emails from the DNC telling me what’s going on in national politics from their perspective, as well as more requests for more dough.

Before I go any further in today’s rant about how the Democrats look ,like they’re going to screw everything up (again,) let’s just…
