Can We Ever Get Rid of Hillary?

When Barbara Bush was asked what she thought about Donald Trump winning the 2016 election, she said that if we needed to put up with Trump for four years, at least we would get rid of the Clintons.

If only ol’ Barbara had turned out to be correct.

Because here it is, eight years after Hillary Clinton ran the single, worst-managed Presidential campaign of all time, and she’s not only still around, but she gets a featured article in The (failing) New York Times as a free advertisement for her new book.

Not only with this interview does Hillary join the ranks of the ‘Trump will destroy American democracy’ cavalcade, but she is also trying to position herself as the one Democrat who can restore the Democrat(ic) Party’s leadership and credibility if the blue team would just follow her advice.

And her advice is based on what she refers to as an ‘existential struggle’ for the future of the United States.

Politicians on both sides of the spectrum love to use the word ‘existential’ whenever they want to make themselves to be the only people out there who should be followed (and voted for) in an election year.

The word isn’t so often heard out of the mouths of GOP-ers, because their audiences for the most part never went past ninth or tenth grade, so they wouldn’t have the…
