Can We Find A Solution To Gaza?

A good friend sent me an op-ed from the Harvard student newspaper, The Crimson, which I think sums up what is wrong with the current views about the campus demonstrations being pronounced by our side.

What I mean by ‘our side’ are the views being expressed by liberals, who would like to find a way to balance out the verbal excesses of the tent kids with the academic commitment to free speech.

I’m not going to waste your time reading or my time writing about what’s being said by the ‘other’ side, the side which tries to promote the Trump-MAGA campaign by aligning itself in the most cynical fashion by screaming about anti-Semitism and applauding the actions of the police.

In fact, the more I think about it, the more I am determined to not spend any more time discussing anything coming out of the GOP/MAGA noise machine at all because either you’re going to vote for Trump because you always vote GOP (like the way I blindly vote for the Dems) because you’re too dumb to do anything else.

Fine. Be dumb. Good for you. Now back to the issue at hand, which is the belief being expressed by our side that we can find a solution to the Gaza problem if we all just sit down together, discuss issues quietly and peaceably, and seek a solution agreeable to both sides.
