Can You Be Jewish and Vote GOP?

I thought the best comment made by Joe Biden during the 2020 campaign was when he said, ‘you can’t be black and be thinking of voting for Donald Trump.’ He was forced to walk the comment back because he got flak from both sides, but he happened to be right.

So, I’m going to paraphrase Joe somewhat when I say that you can’t be Jewish if you’re thinking about voting GOP. And I’m not just talking about Trump. I’m talking about all the rest of those GOP Presidential wannabees who can’t find any real reason to say anything negative about #45.

But it’s not just a question of what GOP supporters are saying or not saying today. This is the same group which for all the noise they are making to support the IDF’s scorched earth strategy in Gaza, couldn’t find one, single word to say anything negative about Trump when he refused to categorically denounce the Nazis who marched through Charlottesville in 2017 chanting anti-Semitic slogans and waving their Nazi flags.

All right, so when Trump said there ‘good people on both sides,’ maybe he really was talking about people watching the Nazis who were standing on both sides of the street. So what? The fact is that he didn’t specifically condemn the appearance of those Nazi bastards as if they somehow deserved the same respect that we give to anyone with whom we disagree.
