One of the digital media outlets just ran a story about recent polls which show Joe slightly behind Trump but seemingly not in the slightest bit worried at all. The author of the story evidently contacted the Biden campaign after the latest New York Times/ Siena poll found Joe trailing Trump in five of the six battleground states which Joe took from Trump in the 2020 campaign, which would appear to be bad news for Joe this time around.

The Biden team basically poured cold water on the poll results, saying that they weren’t worried in the slightest about polls taken this early in the campaign, evincing a solid, optimistic attitude about the 2024 race rather than giving Trump and the other side any degree of satisfaction about where the contest stands at this point in time.

The article went on to look backward at Biden’s previous electoral bids both for his long-time Senate seat as well as his bid to be Obama’s running-mate and his own stabs at grabbing the Oval Office, noting that Joe has a long history both of not being worried about any and all poll results, as well as pulling out victories by coming from behind.

What the one issue this story doesn’t mention in terms of evaluating where the Biden campaign stands vis-à-vis Trump, is what will happen when voters go into a voting booth and have to decide…
