Does It Matter Whether Trump Wins?

What I’m going to say in this story may come as a shock to some readers and piss other readers off. But I don’t write anything just to say what people want to read; I say what I say because I think it needs to be said.

And what I think needs to be said about Donald Trump is that no matter how crazy he sounds, no matter whether he out-Hitler’s Hitler with his comments about immigrants ‘poisoning’ America’s blood or liberal vermin crawling out from underneath the rocks, I don’t think it matters one goddamn bit whether he’s convicted of any crime or goes to jail or goes back to the Oval Office next year.

In fact, I’ll go a step further and say that I don’t think Trump cares whether he is the GOP nominee in 2024 and I don’t think he cares whether he is inaugurated again in 2025.

If you haven’t figured out by now that Trump’s presence in politics is nothing more than a continuation of his role in The Apprentice, then you’ve spent too much time taking the Fake News and all those liberal influencers seriously when they tell us that Trump represents a ‘Fascist threat.’

Trump is about as much of a threat to a democratic system which is now 236 years old as my cat Leonard Mermelstein is a threat. And right now, Leonard is sitting on the couch waiting for what he always waits for every afternoon, which is a can of cat…
