Does Kamala Have An Economic Plan?

I have been reading the various reactions to Kamala’s economic agenda which came out last Friday and of course has drawn comments from one end of the political spectrum to the other, most of the reactions more negative than positive, even from pundits and know-it-alls who want her to win.

I loved the reaction to Kamala’s plan from The (failing) New York Times, which said that her plan wasn’t perfect, but it was ‘better’ than Trump’s plan. That’s all fine and well, except that Trump doesn’t have an economic plan beyond leading the crowd in a ‘drill baby, drill’ chant, which has been floating around the GOP echo chamber since Obama talked about cutting back on drilling in the Alaskan animal refuge back in 2008.

The rather lengthy op-ed actually compared what Kamala would like to do to what Joe did or tried to do over the last four years, and somehow, Trump isn’t mentioned even once in the entire text. But what the writer of this piece was really trying to do he actually achieved, which was to find some reasons why Kamala isn’t quite the big deal we want her to be.

After all, the whole point of political news these days is to keep us believing that Trump still has a chance to win because that way we’ll continue to read what these putzes write every day, and they’ll continue to get paid.
