Here’s a Lawn Sign That Works!
Every day something seems to happen in this campaign, and I say it’s the best thing so far. Then, something happens the next day which goes one better, such as what happened today in a courtroom in Cohasset, a town south of Boston, where a guy was arraigned for ‘defacing private property,’ his crime consisting of painting a swastika on a Trump sign which has been sitting on another guy’s property since 2016.
The owner of the sign happens to be the co-chair of the town GOP Committee, and as soon as the story got around, the GOP state chairwoman said that it was an insult to the six million Jews murdered by Hitler because it defaced a sign promoting the President who has been “most pro-Jewish and pro-Israel President of all time.”
I’m tempted to contact that lady and ask her what she thinks Trump meant when he told his staff chief, John Kelly, that Hitler “did some good things too.”
Of course, Trump denied making that statement but if I had a nickel for every time that Trump has said he didn’t say what other people heard him say, I could remove the paywall I have on my Medium blog.
Perhaps the state chairwoman for the GOP in Massachusetts doesn’t recall how Trump first reacted to the bunch of shitheads who marched down the main street of Charlottesville in 2017 waving Nazi flags and yelling at Jewish onlookers to get…
