How Can Hunter Biden Get Off???

So, I can just see or hear it now. Every GOP 2024 Presidential wannabe will try to get some digital, TV or radio time to denounce the DOJ’s plea deal with Hunter Biden while their big guy is facing 37 criminal charges with no plea deal in sight.

If this is the best campaign issue the GOP can use next year, to quote Grandpa, ‘a be gezunt,’ (read: nothing deserves nothing.) But what else do those so-called Presidential candidates like DeSanctimonious and Holier Than Thou Tim Scott have?

Oh, I forgot. There’s always the millions that the Biden family has received under the table from the Chinese. Maybe Tony Blinken’s bringing back a sack full of cash when he returns from China today.

But now back to all those tax and gun crimes Hunter has committed over the years.

Let’s start with the tax problem. As I understand it, some of the media reports which claim that the kid cheated on tax payments isn’t true. What seems to be true is that he didn’t pay his tax obligations on time, or in a timely manner. I have seen both statements in various media accounts.

Back in 2020, I received a tax bill from the I.R.S. for seventeen thousand and change. This was money I owed them on my 2018 return plus interest and penalties on taxes that were still unpaid.
