How Come Trump Is More Popular Than Joe?

So, this morning fat-ass Christie quits the race and here’s the really big question: Who gets the 12% of the GOP voters who were going to vote for him in New Hampshire?

Think that question’s a nothing-burger? Right now, Trump has a 14-point lead over Haley — it’s the smallest lead he’s had over anyone else since RCP started doing their polls back in June.

If Christie’s supporters show up for the GOP primary in New Hampshire and pull the Haley lever, then the GOP primary campaign is effectively tied. And by the way, now that we’re getting into the time when polls start getting replaced with real votes, that so-called ‘crushing’ national lead which Trump registers today won’t mean diddly-shit.

Don’t get me wrong. I happen to want Trump to headline the 2024 GOP ticket because he’ll get his ass kicked the same way it was kicked in 2020. My concern about Haley or anyone else other than Trump getting the top spot is that a national GOP ticket without Trump will depress — ready? — Democrat(ic) vote.

Joe didn’t roll up 81 fucking million votes because everyone thought he was such a great guy. He brought out the vote because there ere a lot of people out there who really didn’t like Trump.
