How Come Trump Leads Biden in the Polls?

Want to know why Biden is doing so lousy in the polls? I’ll tell you why.

First of all, he’s not campaigning, and even if he were, he couldn’t compete with the kind of media attention that Trump is getting from the indictments which keep piling up. And Trump doesn’t have to do anything to get all that attention because every day he’s wandering into one courtroom or wandering out of another, and he can hold a daily press conference on his way in or out or both.

But the bigger reason why Trump is leading Biden in the polls has to do with how their personalities are regarded by the public, particularly because nobody’s going to pay attention to ‘issues’ a year before they have to go and vote.

In this regard, there’s a brilliant article in WaPo written by a reporter who talked to some of the people who showed up at a Trump rally in Iowa and specifically asked some devout Christians how they felt about the vulgarity and crassness which increasingly dominates what Trump says to the crowd.
