There’s an alt-right noisemaker out there named Christopher Rufo who has done a o wonderful of promoting himself as the village expert on critical race theory after his 2020 appearance on the Fucker Carlson Show got Donald Trump to issue a directive to all federal agencies abolishing critical race theory training which for all we know might have gotten Trump a second term if we hadn’t stolen all those votes in Pennsylvania and other swing states.

Rufo has now published a book, America’s Cultural Revolution — How The Radical Left Conquered Everything — which traces the current left-wing control of government, media, and corporate management back to a strategy first developed in the 1960’s by Herbert Marcuse and his followers like Angela Davis and is now the primus causa explanation for how liberalism is screwing everything up big time.

Marcuse developed his neo-Marxist theory as a way to illustrate both the way to remake capitalist society in socialist terms, as well as to explain how and why the working class was no longer the ‘revolutionary vanguard’ whose power and activity had been used by Lenin to seize political power in Tsarist Russia and transform the country into a socialist state.
