How Do We Celebrate Labor Day? Get Stuck in a Traffic Jam.

Yesterday or maybe it was the day before, I happened to read one of Donald Trump’s rants on his Truth Social page, where he said that the United States was in a complete decline. So, to celebrate this state of impending collapse, I did what all good Americans do on the day before what used to be a three-day national Labor Day holiday but now is four and a half days, and I went shopping at the local mega-store.

This is what he checkout area of the store looked like at 11:30 this morning.

Notice the store is almost empty. Notice how the ‘ruinous’ inflation is making it impossible for the average American to buy the food and other necessities they need. Today the latest unemployment figures were announced, and the number of Americans collecting unemployment checks is half of what it was before the Pandemic.
