How Many Laws Did Trump Break on January 6th?

Keeping track of all the different legal imbroglios involving Orange Shithead Trump can be an exhausting and confusing affair, particularly since there are court cases going on or will go on which don’t list him as a defendant (example: Michigan) but nevertheless are part of the overall scheme of things.

But when all is said and done, the most important legal charges being built against Trump are the charges that have come out of the Grand Jury sitting in D.C. which will ultimately decide whether Trump should be found guilty of leading an insurrection or not.

It’s one thing to be charged with doing something to violate election laws in a particular state, such as what is happening in Georgia and may also surface in several other states. It’s quite another to be charged with leading or participating in an effort to bring down the entire government of the United States.

And this trial, incidentally, is on tap to begin on March 4, the day before Super Tuesday. The results of which will probably determine whether Trump is the second person (after Eugene Victor Debs) to run a Presidential campaign from inside a jail cell.
