How Will Trump Behave in Jail?

How many media reports have we had over the last couple of years on Donald Trump’s various legal battles? A gazillion or maybe more?

Ready for the single, best Fake News mention of them all?

Yesterday the Los Angeles Times, like every other newspaper anywhere on Earth, ran an obituary on OJ. In covering OJ’s last years after he was released from jail, here is what the paper said: “Long before the city woke up on a fall morning in 2017, Trump walked out of Lovelock Correctional Center outside Reno, a free man for the first time in 9 years. He didn’t go far, moving into 5,000-square-foot home in Vegas, with a Bentley in the driveway,”

The Times corrected their death notice, deleting Trump’s name and replacing it with OJ’s name, but not before the original story with Trump being identified as leaving prison appeared in a number of other media venues, including the Boston Herald, a newspaper with an alt-right editorial slant in contrast with the alt-left leaning of The Boston Globe.

Now granted, Trump hasn’t been charged with armed robbery and kidnapping, the crimes that got OJ convicted for which he did his prison time. But as one media member said in reference to this mistake, “Members of the media are just itching to write stories about Trump being found guilty and going to prison,” which is certainly a statement…
