How Will Trump Pay Off Elon Musk and his Other Friends?

My sister, the eagle-eyed lawyer, has done two things that as far as I know nobody else has ever done. She’s the only human being who lived rent-free for multiple years in Manhattan without being either in a nursing home or sleeping in the street.

She also was a freelance photographer for a major New York City daily newspaper, and not only had some of her photos get into print, but she also got paid.

Apropos of that second achievement, yesterday she sent me a photo (above) she snapped of a big demonstration in Union Square which was an anti-Trump event and also created a crowd which surged out of Union Square to go down and demonstrate against the continued presence of Eric Adams in City Hall.

Adams, as you know, was well on his way to a vacation at the resort run by the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Butner, NC when he made a deal with Trump to stop running New York like a ‘sanctuary city’ in return for Trump yanking the federal indictments of Adams for various campaign finance flimflams.

The rally, by the way, was held on President’s Day. What better time to celebrate the achievements and leadership of Donald Trump, right?
