I not only have studied the history of Nazi Germany (Shirer, Bendersky, et. al.) I also had 3 members of my family in fought in World War II, including my father who was in the invasion of Kwajelein, okay? You say that you had members of your family who fought for ‘both sides’ in the Civil War. Good for you. How that qualifies you to make any statements about whether we understand about the 2016 campaign based on what happened in Germany in 1933 is beyond me.
