Is Donald Trump Still Running a Serious Campaign?

It’s only been two days since the debate, and the Trump campaign is starting to give off that rotten eggs smell which doesn’t go away but only over time tends to get worse unless you dump the eggs into the garbage which in this case would mean dumping Trump.

The rottenness of his campaign first started during the debate when Trump tossed out the line about how Haitian residents in Springfield, OH, were eating local pets. Even Trump’s running-mate had already been forced to disengage himself somewhat from that crazy meme, but that didn’t stop Trump from rolling it out as just another example of how a Kamala Administration would mark the final collapse of the United States.

In the press room following the debate, Trump dithered about agreeing to another verbal match against Kamala, but by Thursday he came out definitively against the idea. After all, he claimed to have won two debates, so why go ahead with a third?

At which point the rotten stench from Trump’s campaign became obvious to everyone except maybe Trump and Trump alone.
