Is Hillary Running Again?

The first time I listened to Rush Limbaugh, I was driving back to New York from a business meeting in Cleveland and tuned into some AM radio station somewhere in the boonies and heard Rush yakking about Whitewater which was in the news every day.

After Rush finished his spiel, he opened the show up for calls and of course every caller had something nasty to say about Clinton, not so much about Bill, but about Hillary. In fact, I was surprised at the anti-Hillary vehemence of many of the calls, a memory which came back to me when she ran against Trump in 2016.

When that campaign ended, and even though I held my nose I still voted for Hillary the way I have always voted for every Democrat since I voted the first time in 1968, it was Barbara Bush who said it best like this: “Well, even if we have to pty up with Donald Trump for four years, at least we finally got rid of the Clintons.”

Except, it turned out that Barbara Bush was wrong. Not only did Hillary and Bill continue to stay in the middle of Democrat(ic) politics and political shenanigans during both four years of Trump and the last four years of Joe, but now she appears to be placing herself in a position to head the 2024 Democrat(ic) ticket if Joe decides to remain at home in Delaware to get healthy after a second bout with the ‘Chinese flu.’
