But I go out of my way to follow the Fake News or the Lamestream Media or whatever you want to call it, and one week after Labor Day, which is when political campaigns in election years always begin, the campaign to elect the next Mayor of New York City seems to be at an end.

Eric Adams, the current Mayor, is now trying to wangle an Ambassadorship somewhere in the Persian Gulf, where politics have always been conducted on a pay-as-you-go basis, so he’ll feel right at home.

And Andrew Cu-omo, who says that all the rich people who have donated to his campaign will move out of da city if Mamdani wins, is still trying to figure why anyone should vote for him.

This is a guy. I’m talking about Cu-omo, who resigned as Governor after the Department of Justice confirmed reports that he had sexually harassed as many as a dozen women over the previous few years.

Want a worse one? How about the DOJ criminal investigation of Cu-omo launched in 2025 and is still going on which is looking into the possibility that Any undercounted Covid-19 nursing home deaths because some of those nursing homes were owned by friends of Cu-omo who have been pumping money into his political campaigns.
