It’s Not Over Until It’s Over — It’s Over.

So, yesterday I picked up the wife at 5 o’clock and we started buzzing up the I-91 highway to go home.

All of a sudden, we went under an overpass of some local street which crossed the highway and there they were — a whole gaggle of folks standing on the overpass waving their flags and banners, cheering as the cars ran past them on the highway below, and getting plenty of honking from the traffic which was running to get home.

Hey! Wait a minute! I thought those demonstrations were only happening on a couple of weekends so far.

But that was last week. This is a new week, right?

Then I had another thought. How many MAGA rallies have there been so far in Trump’s second term? If there’s been even one gathering of those shitheads anywhere in the United States, they’re keeping to themselves, that’s for sure.

A little while later I get home and switch on the TV to watch the news. And there’s Lester Holt saying that the Trump Administration has received a letter from 250(!!) college and university Presidents telling Trump and his minions to stop interfering in the academic environment of higher education and leave Harvard alone.
