It’s Time To Get Out the Vote!

My sister, the eagle-eyed lawyer, forwarded me an email this morning that she received from the Harris-WaLz campaign. The email is entitled, ‘HELP IN A BATTLEGROUND STATE,’ and it lists more than 40 buses and carpools carrying people to do GOTV in Wisconsin, Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina.

You click on any of those trips, depending on where you want to work this weekend, and the link takes you to a page where you register your name and the location of your ride. You can also click links which let you register if you plan to drive yourself to any of those battleground states.

This is how the Harris-Walz team is using social media in the 2024 campaign.

Know how the Trump campaign uses social media? They use it to warn you about what will happen to your kitty-cat if you let those criminals from Haiti or some other ‘shithole’ country invade through the Southern border and move into your town.

Incidentally, know how Trump likes to talk about all the ‘criminals’ he threw out of the country during his Presidential term? From 2017 through 2019 the ICE deported an average of 375,000 no-goodniks each year. Obama’s yearly average of deportations was over 400,000 but of course that’s because the Democrats let everyone in.
