Jordan Joins Trump in the Trash Can.

So, now Donald Trump’s asshole buddy is zero for two in his campaign to be elected Speaker of the House. In fact, he lost today by a bigger margin than he lost yesterday. And as Jordan goes down the tubes, so does Trump.

Jordan has done everything he could do over the last several years to help Trump remain in the driver’s seat when it comes to how the GOP will ramp up its narrative for the 2024 vote. Jordan’s been a hardliner on immigration, he opposes any and all legislative recognitions of LGBTQ equality, and of course he’s as anti-WOKE as any member of the GOP caucus could be.

But the good news is that even with support from those GOP assholes who are members of the so-called Freedom Caucus, Jordan’s bid to become the next Speaker of the House seems to be going down the drain in spades.

Incidentally, and this is very important, I have to admit that I was wrong in yesterday’s comment when I said that without the election of a Speaker, that the budget deal which comes up for a vote or an extension on November 16 is dead.

Not true. The House can always vote to give the Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry the power to bring any legislative issue onto the floor for a vote. For that matter, aid for Israel can also be approved by giving the Speaker Pro Tempore the authority to call a vote.
