My Poll Shows Kamala Ahead.
Back in 2020 about two weeks before the election, I happened to drive through some New Hampshire towns on a Sunday afternoon and found myself counting lawn signs for Trump and Joe. I don’t remember the actual number of homes which were displaying signage for either candidate, but what I do remember is that the percentages for both contestants ended up being exactly the same as the percentage of votes each one got when the election actually took place.
So, yesterday I decided to try my little political polling activity again because there’s been so much talk about how the polls are wrong, or the polls are right, or the polls are whatever all the experts say about the polls.
This time, the wife and I drove through four crummy little towns on Route 32 from the NH-MA border to the town of Swanzey, which is the last town on this road before you get into Keene, where there is a branch of the State University with more than 3,000 students so political activity in that town would hardly be representative of the state as a whole.
The towns on Route 32 are all crummy, little places which are typical of the towns in New England which are not locations where people who live in the Boston — New York metropolis sprawl like to go on Fall weekends to look at the leaves.
