My wife is the senior attending pediatrician at a medical center which is a teaching campus both for the state medical school (MA) and Tufts Medical School. She is working 60-hour weeks. But the NYT article is wrong in many respects and your attempt to use it to inflame your readership about how 'bad' everything represents internet 'journalism' at its worst. If this is the best you can do to get people to give you money, you should be ashamed of yourself. I would be happy to explain why the NYT article is so badly misinformed, but you wouldn't listen anyway.
