Ohio Joins the Confederacy.

Back in 1968, I was driving across the newly-open interstate highway in Ohio to get back to graduate school in Chicago following Spring break. I stopped to eat lunch at a diner on the highway, and right behind a group of older, Black women in their Sunday best also walked in.

The piece of shit redneck behind the counter took my order but kept walking past this group of Black church ladies without saying one word. Redneck piece of shit.

I had gone on a Freedom Ride to desegregate a diner in Delaware in 1958. So, I knew who I was dealing with — a redneck piece of shit. I took him aside and told him that his diner was on federal property and if he didn’t serve these ladies, he was breaking the law, and I would call the cops.

He started serving these little old ladies, and as I walked out of the diner, several of them smiled at me and said, ‘thank you.’

Welcome to Ohio.

If we have learned anything from yesterday’s primary, it’s that Ohio has replaced Georgia as the thirteenth Confederate state. Which means that the blue team can probably count on 211 electoral votes, versus 178 for the pieces of shit. So, we need to pick up another 59 EV’s from the 156 EV’s of the ‘battleground’ states, the pieces of shit need to pick up 92 more electoral votes.
