Okey-Dokey: The 2024 Campaign is Finally Underway.

Guess what? Now that we’ve turned the calendar to 2024, which happens to be a Presidential election year, we are finally going to see the start of a real Presidential campaign.

What I am referring to is the announcement from the Biden camp that Joe will be making a speech at Valley Forge to mark the 3rd anniversary of the January 6th riot, and he won’t pull any punches when it comes to nailing Trump for promoting an assault on the government that day.

The latest national poll basically shows a tie between Trump and Biden, but I wouldn’t take those results seriously because 26% of the respondents were undecided about their choice. Which tells me that nobody’s really paying attention to the campaign but that will change now that Biden is going on the attack.

The bigger problem for Trump may be the domino effect from being booted off the ballot in Maine and Colorado, with the latter decision seen as making it difficult for the Supreme Court to overturn that ruling, if and when the case is reviewed by Chief Justice Roberts, et. al.

Trump, of course, is saying that this is just another example of ‘election interference’ by the Democrats, and he happens to be correct because the 14th Amendment, when and if invoked, does exactly that.
