In a New York Times article from February, 2015 Rudy Giuliani’s personal wealth was given as $30 million, and that number was from the financial filing he submitted in 2007 at the beginning of his ill-fated Presidential campaign.

So, here’s a guy who goes from $30 million to maybe even more and files for bankruptcy yesterday, the petition listing debts between $100 million and $500 million and assets of up to $10 million bucks.

You can see the entire document right here but I’ll save you the trouble of reading it because I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed reading every last, goddamn word.

Better yet, you can download the document as a pdf, print it out and enjoy reading it over the holiday weekend while you’re waiting for the Christmas dinner to be served.

The best part of the document is where the creditors to whom Rudy owes claims are named, a listing which starts with about $750,000 owed to the IRS. Then there’s another $265,000 plus change owed to New York State.

In other words, Rudy’s in hock to the tax authorities for a million bucks.

Rudy also owes a bunch of law firms somewhere around $3.7 million and of course there’s the judgement last week in Georgia for another $148 million.
