Should Trump Be Treated Like the Central Park 5?

Donald Trump started ranting about Obama being born outside of the United States in 2011. And when Obama then produced a valid U.S. birth certificate, Trump refused to apologize or back down.

This has been SOP for Trump in terms of just about everything he says or does. First, he makes a crazy and nasty comment about someone which he knows isn’t true. Then when confronted with the truth he refuses to admit that he was wrong.

And Trump-o gets away with this nonsense because the Fake News is desperate to make a buck off of Trump-o’s crummy and slanderous speech, so it just goes on and on.

But don’t make the mistake of thinking that Orange Shithead’s nasty lies are of recent vintage that became part and parcel of his Presidential campaigns. In fact, he began promoting lies and racist rhetoric back in 1989.

I am referring to an incident in New York City which became known as the ‘Central Park Five,’ which was the arrest and conviction of five black youths for allegedly assaulting and raping a young, white woman who was jogging through Central Park around 10 at night.

The five black boys were all 14 or 15 years old. They ended up serving sentences of between six and twelve years.
