Take the 5th Don. Take it Again.

Back in the day, the New Orleans mob was run by a guy named Carlos Marcello. At some point he was dragged in front of a Grand Jury, and it has been said that he set the all-time record for the number of times that he took the Fifth.

But if that’s true, then there’s a good chance that Orange Shithead will break that record if only because he’s just now starting to appear before all the Grand Juries and investigations that are looking at his conduct over the last four years.

The deposition he gave to New York State’s AG the other day is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s the thing in Georgia, there may be referrals by the Select Committee, who knows what will still pop up?

But you can bet your bottom dollar that what Trump was doing by putting out this crazy statement about how he only took the Fifth because otherwise he would be the victim of a witch hunt by an out-of-control prosecutor was just a tune up for statements he will be making on a routine and frequent basis over the next couple of years.

Trump allegedly took the Fifth more than 450 times during this past week’s deposition, but he’s not the only bird who has been up in that tree.
