I still don’t have a clue as to how two educated, professional, and superbly accomplished women like Claudine Gay and Liz Magill could have let a complete and total asshole like Elise Stefanik ambush them and cost them their jobs. Are the upper reaches of the Ivory Tower that removed from reality and common sense?

I can just see Stefanik running for President and using her garish and vulgar assault of these two members of the Democrat(ic) ‘establishment’ as her prima facie reason for becoming President of the whole, fucking United States.

And to rev up her candidacy, Stefanik will continue to play a starring role in the so-called Select Committee of the House Judiciary Committee which has now held three hearings on the ‘weaponization of government’ to provide some ‘balance’ to the hearings held by another House Select Committee to figure out what happened on January 6th.

Of course, the January 6th Committee, because the House was still controlled in 2022 by the Democrats, focused its efforts on how Trump and his minions both inside and outside the West Wing, conspired to organize, create, and direct an insurrection against the government on January 6th.

Once the House fell back under GOP control in January 2023, however, the new majority had to come up…
