Trump and the N-Word: Just Wait.

As much as I hate to say it, I have to give Donald Trump credit for actually doing something that could be seen in a positive way.

What Trump has dome is to normalize language which in the olden days were words that could only be used to describe the most threatening behavior which if you actually behaved in that way could get you locked up or worse.

Alger Hiss was called a Communist. He did more than three years of prison time. The Rosenbergs were called Communists, and they (Heaven help them) were fried. Maybe calling someone a Socialist only resulted in them losing their job or get booted off some local school board, which would get worse if the c-word replaced the s-word in front of their names.

Of course, the big no-no is still the n-word, but now that Trump routinely refers to Muslims as ‘illegals,’ getting into racial as opposed to political descriptives is just one step away. And don’t kid yourself, all these Muslims and all those immigrants from the ‘shithole’ countries down South wouldn’t be such a threat if they spoke English and were white.

But they don’t and they’re not.
