Trump Wins Even If He Doesn’t Win

Understand something about Trump, okay?

This is a guy who spends all his time thinking about how to build a brand.

And the brand happens to be his name, which you can find in all kinds of places where someone’s name isn’t usually found.

This is a condo tower which Trump built on Manhattan’s West Side. It’s one of several dozen condo towers in New York City which carries Trump’s name.

There are other real estate developers in New York who turned what was once a hunting ground for the Lenape and Mohican Indian tribes into what is now a veritable jungle of glass and steel - Stern, Zeckendorf, Goldman — but only Trump’s name is emblazoned above the front entrance of the buildings he owns.

Over the years, I have played three or four golf courses developed by Donald Trump. I have also played courses designed and developed by Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw and Pete Dye.

Know which courses are the only layouts which have a big sign with the name of the designer or developer on the approach to the clubhouse? That’s right. It’s him again.
