Trump’s Gaza ‘Plan.’

I never thought Trump could outdo himself with something more stupid, racist or destructive than what he usually says every day, but he exceeded my wildest expectations the other day with his statement about how everyone living in Gaza would have to live somewhere else and then the Gaza strip alongside the Mediterranean would be transformed into a world-class, vacation resort.

And guess who will build this lovely project so that white people from the United States can dip their toes into the lovely Mediterranean sea? The Trump Organization, of course, which will also manage this new enterprise that will provide Donald a decent income just in case he isn’t elected to a third Presidential term.

Imagine that you’re a resident of Gaza and one day someone knocks on the front door and tells you that you and your family have 24 hours to get the hell out. Imagine if you’re given the choice of living in a tent in Saudi Arabia or Oman.

This kind of aggressive reshaping of the Middle East by rapacious Westerners has now been going on for nearly a thousand years since the First Crusade showed up in 1096. And don’t think for one second that the attempt by white Christians to reduce the Muslim world to a state of utter and complete servility is just something which happened in the olden days.
