Want To Make a Quick Buck? Go Into Politics.

As much as I hate to say it, when all is really said and done, I have to give the GOP credit for understanding that what makes America great is how easy it is to turn a buck in this country, particularly if it’s a buck you earned by pulling off some kind of political scam.

Look at Rudy Giuliani. Here’s a guy who ran around the country promoting the whole election ‘fraud’ nonsense, and although he hasn’t gotten paid, he’s still listing a couple of million bucks as an asset for doing nothing except shooting off his mouth about something which didn’t really take place.

Then there’s Steve Bannon who happens to be sitting in a cell at the Danbury Federal Penitentiary because he wouldn’t appear before the House Select Committee which made this great, reality-TV show about January 6th. He scammed donors from all over the country who sent contributions to a website which would then use the money to finish the Mexican wall. Except the money wound up in Bannon’s personal bank account, but what’s so bad about that?

I didn’t notice, by the way, that Bannon’s media career suffered to any great degree because he was convicted of pulling off a massive fraud. For that matter, I don’t notice that Donald Trump’s political career has suffered in any direct or indirect way after he was convicted of 34 counts of fraud.
