Watch Out! Trump’s Coming Back — Again.

I enjoy reading the Fake News rants every day but with all due respect, I don’t know what’ s worse — the shenanigans of Trump or the reactions to him by the liberal media and blogosphere which seem hopelessly addicted to the idea that Trump represents some kind of right-wing Armageddon which will crush democracy, or at least democracy as it is practiced by the blue team.

I used to think of journals like The New Republic, Harper’s and The Guardian as repositories of liberal-slanted information which was too complicated or too dense for the daily media to carry given the pressure of deadlines.

But ever since those publications went online, they have become just another example of how click-bait competition destroys responsible journalism and replaces it with the same kind of frenzied messaging that we get from the tabloids. So, for example, today I saw at least three references to how ‘divided’ America has become thanks to Donald Trump.

Now I don’t know about you, but I took elementary math in the 4th and 5th grades, and one of the things I learned is that when two numbers are separated by a couple of digits at best, in fact these numbers are very close to one another.
