What Happened to Truth Social?

Last week I decided to get into the modern world, so I began to download some apps onto my droid. I started with Microsoft’s Office, then added a good chess game, and then decided to link my phone up to Trump’s social media site.

Except there was only one problem. The app won’t work on a droid. And I’m not about to throw switch to an Apple device because the last time I walked into an Apple store there was only one other person in the store who appeared to be older than twenty-five. And as a guy who had a long IT career within a standard Windows corporate environment, I’m not about to start using technology that’s been designed for kids.

Talk about a big hullabaloo all about nothing. This app was supposed to be fully launched sometime back in March and we were told by Trump that Truth Social would quickly eclipse Twitter and the other social media operations which no longer allowed him access to their users or advertisers.

The last time anyone checked, Truth Social had around half a million ‘active users,’ Twitter users number somewhere around 200 million, give or take a few million here or there. So, Trump has a bit of catching up to do.

And by the way, notice how Trump promotes his social media platform every chance he gets. He mentions it once or twice at his rallies and tells the crowd to drop their Twitter accounts. Yea, sure.
