What I do get is people like you who make sure that every comment includes snide or insulting remarks. Yes, the tax unit ‘enforced’ the 1938 law but it was a paper enforcement since there were no inspections and paperwork could be kept in any way that the dealer chose to keep it.
I try to keep all my columns below 800 words so I often abbreviate or gloss over issues that aren’t important.
What are you really saying? That the growth of gun regulations hasn’t occurred at the same time that the gun violence rate has doubled? And by the way, if you think I’m against regulating guns, you haven’t read what I have written over the past 9 years on my own website, Huffington Post and Medium.
What I want to see is meaningful regulations which focus on the real causes of gun violence. But of course if you agree with that or not, you till need to make sure that you thro ina couple of snide remarks or personal insults, right?
