What Should Biden Do When He Squares Off Against Trump?

There’s a very interesting story in the echo chamber this morning which makes me wonder whether our side — the good side — really understands what we are heading into as the 2024 Presidential campaign gets into high gear.

And the reason things are getting serious is that this story concerns how the Biden team is beginning to think about what will happen at the first Presidential debate between Joe and the other guy scheduled to take place on June 27, which is just two weeks (plus a day) from today.

What these so-called experts think will win the debate for Joe will be a strategy in which he lets everyone watch and listen to Trump rant and rave about everything and anything, or as one of them said, “I think people forget the way he interacts, the way he communicates, the inaccuracies of the things he says and promises to the American people.”

And there’s no question that this is a pretty accurate description of how Trump behaves in public these days, with one of his latest bullshit broadsides being his promise to hotel workers in Las Vegas that he would let them ignore having to declare income from tips on their federal tax returns.
