Whatever Happened to Gaza and Ukraine?

Want to end a war? It’s simple. You don’t need to bring the warring parties to a meeting where they can negotiate a peace. You don’t need to convince one side or both sides to stop fighting.

All you need to do is make sure that nothing about the conflict makes it on the evening news report of the Fake News stations, like CBS or NBC.

I watched the NBC Nightly News last night and neither the Ukraine nor Gaza was mentioned even once. After all, what’s more important? The United States racking up some more gold medals at a track meet in Paris or the continued killing going on every day in Gaza and Ukraine?

Remember how Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was going to result in that country becoming nothing more than another province of the Soviet state? Yesterday, Ukraine announced that its ‘invasion’ of Russia (yes, they used the word ‘invasion’) was now covering more than 150 square miles in the area around the Russian city of Kursk.

If the name Kursk is familiar, it happens to be the location where the Russian army fought and won a tremendous, armored victory against Hitler’s Wehrmacht in World War II.
