What’s Happening in Gaza?
Ever hear of a place called Gaza? It used to make the front page of The (failing) New York Times every day, par5icularly when those totally-entitled college kids were sitting outside their classrooms (where they were supposed to be learning something,) eating hummus and raising all kinds of Hell about how the Israel Defense Forces were tearing the neighborhoods in Gaza and the people living in those neighborhoods apart.
Every once in a while, when my wife and I go driving through some Vermont town looking for a consignment shop, I’ll drive by some house which still has a ‘Free Gaza’ sign on the front lawn — many of those homes also haven’t taken down their Harris-Walz lawn signs although God only knows how those signs served any purpose in the first place.
Meanwhile, now that the college kiddies are behaving themselves properly and the Democrats showed up at the Capitol yesterday to help Donald Trump make a peaceful transition to the resumption of his MAGA regime, According to the BBC, at least 88 residents of Gaza were killed by Israeli air strikes over the weekend and the health-care system in Gaza is in the state of a total collapse.
So, if you’re a resident of Gaza and need some kind of medical treatment for any health problem at all, there’s no longer a single medical facility which will accept you as a patient and you also can’t leave Gaza to…
