What’s MAGA Really All About?

Once again, the Fake News runs a big story about how Trump is redoing the federal government to meet a conservative/MAGA agenda and keeps getting it all wrong.

The New York Times story is about a conservative jackass named Russell Vought who is evidently the guy telling Trump which government agencies need to be shut down because they are just tools for the Deep State, promoting woke-inspired lies to help George Soros and those other Communists seize power and rob God-fearing Americans of their God-given rights.

Think I’m kidding? Take a look at the website of an outfit called The Center for Renewing America which Vought started up in 2020 after serving as Budget Director in Trump’s first term, which describes this group as being “For God, For Country, For Community.” Get it?

The NYT story then goes on to talk about how Vought is trying to expand Trump’s authority to the point that the President can basically run things at the federal level without any advice or consent from Congress at all.

I’ve been reading stories like this for the past nine months, and I can only say that what’s missing is any degree of understanding by the liberal media about what’s really behind all this MAGA-inspired nonsense, which I’ll try to explain with reference to an experience I had in 2005.
