Where Did Rudy Get All That Dough?
Meanwhile, for all the talk about how the Orangeman will shut down the legal cases against him if he wins the 2024 election, that’s all fine and well, except he can’t do one, goddamn thing about the charges brought against him and others for trying to get false electors to show up at the meeting of the Electoral College and cast phony votes on his behalf.
It never occurred to our schmucky 45th President that this crazy scheme to overturn the 2020 election would result in him and other jerkoffs facing state, instead of federal felony charges. And while he survived two impeachment attempts, which perhaps made him feel that he truly was above the law, or at least above the law bring thrown at him by the ‘weaponized’ Department of Justice, those outcomes had absolutely no bearing on how a jury would vote when state laws prohibiting fixing an election were involved.
I was drawn to consider this issue today when I happened to see a story about Rudy Giuliani posting bond yesterday after being processed following the Arizona indictment served on him at his 80th birthday bash celebrated last month in Palm Beach.
