Who Needs the GOP Without Trump?

So, now that Jim Jordan has bitten the dust, the libs in and out of politics can begin celebrating that the Golden Shithead era has come to an end. After all, Jordan was Trump-o’s choice for Speaker, ergo, no Jordan, no Trump, right?

Which I guess makes me something of an outlier because not only did I want Jordan to win the vote, but I was hoping that the moment he was elected he would turn around and give Matt Gaetz and MTG some very visible positions in the GOP caucus, just to make it clear that the Days of Trump weren’t coming to an end.

Meanwhile, in the White House Joe is playing Mister International Diplomat to the hilt and in New York Trump has to come up with five grand because he couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

And down in Georgia, we now have both lawyers who were indicted for screwing around with the voting copping pleas, and Michael Cohen, who knows more about being a rat than anyone else who has ever worked for Trump-o, says that everyone else who is being charged in that case will also flip.

But while we can all get a kick out of the GOP kicking Donald Trump in his fat ass, I happen to believe that we need to understand what the possible collapse of MAGA really means.

What it means is that the GOP may become a much more competitive political force and a much greater threat…
