Who Should Kamala Pick for V.P?

If you haven’t been dead asleep for the last 48 hours, you’ve probably noticed a rather remarkable change in the trajectories of both the Republic(an) and Democrat(ic) Presidential campaigns.

The GOP campaign, which had been steadily rolling along with Trump holding a slight lead or at least even-steven in the battleground states, all of a sudden finds itself unable to continue using the ‘crooked Joe’ or ‘demented Joe’ narratives in order to reach a critical mass of votes, and the Biden campaign has dropped out of sight and been replaced so quickly by the energy and enthusiasm of the Harris effort, that it’s almost like this move had been in the planning for months.

And by the way, I happen to believe that the shift from Joe to Kamala wasn’t just a ‘hail Mary’ strategy grabbed by the Biden campaign as it reached a critical, negative point. To the contrary, I always thought that Joe’s chief goal in 2020 was to run for President simply to get rid of Trump, regardless of whether he would then serve for four or eight years.

What neither Joe nor anyone else on the Democrat(ic) side could predict, however, was Trump’s decision to continue his candidate status and behavior over the last nearly four years by coming up with that election ‘fraud’ nonsense which he continues to promote even to this very day.
