Who’s Really Winning? Trump or Joe?
So, how do we explain the fact that if the 2024 Presidential election were held today, that Donald Trump would win all those battleground states he lost to Joe in 2020 and move back into the White House for another four years?
At least this is what a new Bloomberg poll is revealing which shows Trump with a slight lead in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, states with enough electoral votes to give Trump the big W on November 5th.
These results appear to be quite a shift from the last time this poll was conducted in March, which had Biden slightly ahead in Wisconsin and tied in Michigan and Pennsylvania, with Trump still leading in Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina, although by smaller margins than when the previous survey was conducted in February.
Now what appears to be happening in these swing states is that Joe’s momentum seems to have stalled, and the expected negative reaction to Trump going on trial in New York hasn’t shown up one bit.
I have a theory about whether the hush-money trial, even if it ends with a guilty verdict, has not hurt Trump’s standing with the electorate to date and may not be a negative factor going forward, and my theory goes like this.
